Capturing solar energy through solar heaters to heat the water in our facilities.
Photovoltaic energy.
Rainwater harvesting system.
Consuming purified water from springs in the northern mountains.
Consuming organic coffee for breakfast, organically grown by small Oaxacan producers and certified fair trade.
Using biodegradable, sulfate-free products in our laundry.
Recycling laundry water to keep our gardens healthy and green.
Using energy-saving, long-lasting LED bulbs for lighting in common areas and guest rooms.
Separating waste into containers for plastic, paper, cardboard, Tetra Pak, aluminum, glass, and batteries for recycling.
Producing vermicompost with organic waste as a fertilizer substitute and providing high nutrient content for our garden.
Changing towels and sheets every other day, thanks to the collaboration of our guests, saves energy, water, and cleaning products.
Collecting cold water (before the hot water runs through) with containers in the showers to be recycled.
Using large containers for shampoo and hand soap to minimize the use of plastic containers.
Encouraging guests to refill their water bottles using the jugs placed in common areas to avoid the use of plastic containers.
Use of biodegradable garbage bags due to their rapid decomposition.
Backpacks are provided to reduce plastic bag consumption.
